We’ll have conversations with the people serving, and served by, Blue Ridge Literacy, and share some “sneak peek” clips of our newest BUZZ TV show starring this inspiring nonprofit.
Founded in 1985 by two librarians, Blue Ridge Literacy supports achievement of life goals by providing opportunities to strengthen literacy skills to adults in western Virginia. Serving today primarily refugees and immigrants, Blue Ridge Literacy offers English, Digital Literacy, and Citizenship Preparation classes, as well as one-on-one tutoring services for adult English learners in the Roanoke Valley.
