Our host for the event is Radford University’s School of Communication (Hemphill Hall, Rm 4700), whose students spent the spring semester providing vital marketing assets for the nonprofit spay/neuter clinic. The episode airs that evening at 7:00 pm on Blue Ridge PBS.

With thousands of stray and unwanted animals roaming our communities, it sometimes seems like it’s actually raining cats and dogs. But in Southwest Virginia it’s also raining caring humans who have devoted their time, talent and money toward curtailing (pun intended!) this epidemic at Mountain View Humane.
On today’s BUZZ we feature this nonprofit as it prepares to celebrate its 100,000th spay/neuter. And we meet the marketing students at nearby Radford University who are helping Mountain View Humane highlight this milestone with a lot of new … buzz!
